Minimalism, A New 'Talk Of The Town'


Nowadays, design blogs and graphic magazines are inundated with a special buzz-word ‘minimalism’. Bloggers and designers of both graphic and web origin have already written a hundred articles about minimalism and the importance of minimal design. I myself have amused many readers with my blog post Minimal is the New Sexy just a few months ago. Minimalism is such a strange design style that when even a simplest man looks at it, he cannot help himself but to praise its beauty and cleverness. However, I have always been of the view that it is certainly not due to all the special ‘talk’ about minimalism that amuses its onlooker. Then why do we find minimalism so creative?

Of all the people who might be thinking on these lines, I have tried to jot down some points that I mustered up through my observation and experience. So whenever your mind (or someone else’s tongue) asks you about minimalism, just reply keeping the following points in mind.
